Starting out.

First off, Hi to all.

Im 30+ (havent been on a bike since I was 17 ) and have been given CBT voucher for local bike training instructor for crimbo.

Havent book yet as I am getting some gear together first ( jacket, boots n gloves) as Training only supplies helmet high vis n gloves ( id feel better getting a pair that fits me).

After CBT whats the best way to go ?
Get a cheapish 125cc for a little while then do some training on bigger bikes then test.
Or
See what instructor says , n just go for training on bigger bike then sit test, pass (hopefully) and spend money on 600cc ?

Any advise/ suggestions welcome.

Re: Starting out.

Hello again, said it somewhere else too I agree with Bill, see what your instructors advice to you is, after all, he's the one watching what and how your doing!

I did my CBT a little while ago and have a 3 day course booked. My instructor want to see me riding a 125 for a bit longer to decide if I should stick with that or if he thinks I could cope with a 500 and the DSA.
