Hi all

Hi all

firstly i'd like to say hi and that, from the little i read on here before i registered, it looks like your a helpful bunch!!

Not got my licence yet, am going to book my theory today, then once i have that, then can do my test so if anyone has any help or advise for that it would be most apprecieated!!!

Thanks all!! got all the books and disks, so will be a hermit for a week!

Is there any really hard bits of any of the tests that i should pay more time practising???

In the theory test? I didn't find any real hard bits when I did mine in January but I did have a problem remembering the road signs. But if you're using the practice disks you'll be aware of the area's you need to practice more.


Don't loose sleep over it though as the test is multi choice and some of the questions on the practice disk are in the test (like the road signs )

For the second part, the hazard perception, just keep your eyes peeled and start your clicks as soon as you see the hazard, you'll get a good feel of this from your disks

There's an on line practice test here if you fancy a change from the disk Free on line DVLA Theory test

Just as GrotBag said - the test isn't too hard - just keeping practising with the disks. The more you practise the better you get. On the Haz Perception test - keep an eye out for people on pavment and cars pulling away or emerging....
