Re: Hello from Oxfordshire Hi Neil and a late warm welcolm to the forum mate. Well done with the CBT, now go and get yourself a wee Marauder a smashing 125 cruiser. Ride it for a year or so, look after it and youll sell it for neer enough what you paid for it. That will pay for your full test and away you go...... Get plenty of practice in cause the test gets a lot harder in november i think (someone will correct me) Anyway good luck mate. Mo

Re: Hello from Oxfordshire Well - thanks to the recommendations here on the forums (and the fact that I haven't been able to get comfortable on any other bike I've tried) - the deposit has just gone down on my '08 Marauder! Now frantically chasing CBT places, as the bike will be ready to collect in just a week! Neil

Re: Hello from Oxfordshire Good luck with the CBT mate. And well done you got yourself a cracking wee bike.Dont know how it works were you are, but they let me take my CBT on my Marauder, but i see you wont be getting your bike till after the test. Anyway its a doddle, the hardest thing i found was the U turn... So plenty of practice. All the best... MO + Bumble Bee

Re: Hello from Oxfordshire Thanks, Big Mo! They won't let me take the CBT on the Marauder, because (apparently) if I drop it my insurance wouldn't be valid. But I'm not overly bothered, as I can collect the bike immediately after completing it... I have to say I'm stupidly excited about the whole thing - having not been on a bike in almost 20 years, it's going to be great fun! (That said, unlike 20 years ago I find myself reading much more about safety and much *less* about going fast!) Neil
