Another new member

Hi all.

Just about to get back into biking after xyz years... Well, I say get back into, previous experience was limited to illegally tanking round on dirty 50 scoots, the unbridled power (snigger) of ratty TZR125 strokers and lusting after RD350LCs... Hmm, that might date me a bit...

So slightly later in life I'm doing it properly and legally so got my CBT next week - read a great deal of similar threads on this so don't worry, going to relax and enjoy it

Hi Jaz

You are me and I claim my £5! TZR125's were great fun, weren't they?

Welcome to the forums, enjoy your CBT and the fun that follows. I am!

Neil

Re: Another new member

Hey all. Thanks for the welcome (you're a friendly bunch!)

I'm in Sheffield at the mo, though have knocked around a few bits of the UK.

Was talking to a couple of work mates earlier and reminiscing about the 'good old days'?! - dropping the TZR back then was a relatively frequent occurence - anyone else remember the funny breakers and other outfits you rang round (this is pre-internet really!) to try and get replacement plastics... The way bike shops used to smell... The 'tuning' you used to carry out to create an unridable pig with a powerband that was only 500 revs wide...

Of course being older and wiser I think I'm gonna appreciate reliable, comfortable, modern bikes now
