Talking hi from hondaboy

hello to all in bikerforum land

thought i'd say a quick hello and introduce myself

at the tender age of 30 decided it was time to get on 2 wheels after 12 years of summer traffic in a car and so far i'm loving it

decided not to go the DAS route and straight on to a 600 something but do a bit of an apprenticeship first. so one rainy cbt, a few cuts and bruises after falling in the training playground and im on the road.

bought a little cg125 and now spend my days off making excuses to the wife to explain why it took me an hour and a half to go to the shop. just cant seem to stop wanting to ride it. i know its not fast but is still a lot of fun on the right road.

anyhow ive rabbited for long enough now so will go and polish my visor

hondaboy. Welcome.

I guess the summer traffic in Cornwall with all the caravaners can be pretty horrific. Two wheels is the way to go

Hee hee - sounds just like my story!! Doing a year on a 125 is great - it'll teach you ALL you need to know about basic bike dynamics. It'll increase your bike sense without the full power of a bigger bike. It still takes me 1 hr to go the shops ;-)

Wait til you start buying all the biker gear... that'll really get on her nerves!!

Honda CBR 600RR and proud!!

Welcome, fellow 125er!

I know exactly what you mean about just riding - the other day my 9-mile trip home turned into almost 60!

Can't get enough, and the grin's so fixed I look like Jack Nicholson playing the joker.

Have fun and enjoy the forums...

Neil

Re: hi from hondaboy

not a bad idea but i suppose it really all depends on your biking experience, i started ridding at 12ish then had a 50cc at 16 then 125cc for 2 years, it was another 6 years before i rode again and that was to pass my test, i then bought a kwak zxr750 straight away, rode to my limits not the bikes, then had bike after bike slowly building my pace up until i became the lunatic i am now lol

if you want to tell me to fuc* off, i will not take offence
