| Apologies first goof. i meant to add that im riding a VFR800 at the monet, but im looking to get rid off it and buy a Blackbird. Not sure which version to go for. Any advice on the matter would be gratefully recieved. chow for now Big Kahoona ![]() |

| Re: Apologies Hello Big Kahoona (great name ) welcome to the biker forum mate.I run a 98 Blackbird and have had it for around 3 1/2 yrs now. Its the carb version and apart from the obligatory regulator/rectifier problem its been a cracking bike. The only difference I have heard of is that the carb version is possibly easier to keep running sweet but I don't know if thats true or not. The other main difference from the VFR is that the VFR is a quick bike but the Bird is brutal, but a lot heavier and bigger. |
