I was really harking back to my own car driving test - I passed in under 15 mins cos I was the last test of the day & the examiner was in a hurry to get home to take his missus out for their wedding anniversay. I even got 50% of me highway code questions wrong and still passed cos me "driving was exemplary"

It seems to me that the French test is like our new one at the end of September. Have a look for yourself here The French Motorcycle Test & Requirements


Like indie say's, try and get a cancellation from a riding school here maybe?


Take no notice of the rabble Sandra, when they all did their tests they rode up and down a carless mudtrack road and passed it if they managed to not fall of the bike when they stopped

Awww rats Sandra One little mistake and it screws it all up.

Still, you're getting test experience which means when you go for it next time you'll be a bit more relaxed as you'll know what it's all about.

Don't give up, you'll get there in the end

Hey Grotbag & Andy thanks for that. I will not give up.........it's not in my nature, they will either pass me due to effort or just to get rid of me..........lol. Have been ringing round everywhere, even up in Scotland and there is no test dates to be had.....hey ho. It just means that I can go to a few more bike shows riding pillion and not worry about riding home hungover........I knew there would be an up side to failing!!

Your right though Andy in that it is all good exprience and despite the failure (or as I like to say - not yet achieved), I have learned a lot today and over the last few days training and I am starting to believe in myself a bit more!

Will continue to post though and update on move to France and future tests.
