Another Newb!

Hi suzuki600. A great 1st bike, the GSX600F. My 1st big bike was the GSX750F, loved it. Isle of Bute? Sounds small?

I'm lovin the bike (not literally! I'm not into that kind of thing! ) It's a cracker, plenty fast enough and very predictable and settled on the road.

Bute is pretty small, 15 miles long by 4 miles wide. Like I said, it's got some good roads but they're too short! Still...only a short ferry ride to some great roads up the west coast.

hi suzuki600, I'm based up in Lossie. I suppose the nearest I've been to your neck of the woods is Paisley - amzing how quickly you're out of the built up areas and into cracking countryside(went down to Largs/Wemyss Bay once - not towing a caravan!!).

Hey, the rest and be thankful, I know it well as I used to stay not far away in Kilcreggan. It's a nice trip up across Ranoch moor and into Glen Coe though eh?

Thanks for the welcome guys, even the late ones!

I'm back from working offshore and wouldn't you know it, the weather offshore was brilliant blue skys with almost no rain for a month, I get back and there's no sign of the sun. Looks like I'll be doing some wet weather riding.
