) It's a cracker, plenty fast enough and very predictable and settled on the road. Bute is pretty small, 15 miles long by 4 miles wide. Like I said, it's got some good roads but they're too short! Still...only a short ferry ride to some great roads up the west coast. | |

| [quote=suzuki600;26792]The 'Rest and be thankful' is a cracker, if all the caravans would bugger off! Ayrshire isn't too far and there's plenty of nice roads there (plenty of speed camers too, BOOOOO!) There are a couple of fast and twisties on Bute but they're not long enough. Hey, the rest and be thankful, I know it well as I used to stay not far away in Kilcreggan. It's a nice trip up across Ranoch moor and into Glen Coe though eh? ![]() |

| Re: Another Newb! Thanks for the welcome guys, even the late ones! ![]() I'm back from working offshore and wouldn't you know it, the weather offshore was brilliant blue skys with almost no rain for a month, I get back and there's no sign of the sun. Looks like I'll be doing some wet weather riding. If anyone is up (or down) this way and fancies a ride out, give me a shout. |
