DVD - New off-road element of test

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the DVD issued by the DSA showing the new practical off-road element of the test. I have downloaded the information pack from their site but the link in one of the documents to the DVD is inactive and the message on the site says "DVD coming soon".....yeah great..........not soon enough when I have my test on 29th Sept (stressing).

I have read a couple of posts regarding the new test and I am now shitting myself as each one has stressed how difficult they think it will be for anyone on a 125cc to get up to speed coming off the corner for the swerve exercise (and they are qualified riders / instructors).

Any guidance appreciated............before I go cancel this test and wait for it to be revised when all on 125cc fail due to failing to get up to speed.

As it's a new test, I would imagine that its only available from DSA or riding schools at the moment. But if they haven't got it ready yet ...................

i did the swerve on a suzuki vanvan 125 last thursday and had no trouble getting up to speed and im a right fat knacker! just keep the bike in second round the curve for high revs and then boot it on the exit, up into third and you should get 55kph, its not as simple as that for everybody i appreciate that and it took me a second attempt to get it but please dont cancel your test because of it just try and get some practice shots at it before hand

Thanks for the tips..........will do........I have one 3 hr lesson on 18th to practice the yard work so if it doesn't come together at that point then I will have to re-think.

Thanks Grotbag,

I have had a look at the link you posted and also downloaded the pack from DSA. I think your right about the DVD - apparently it was sent to instructors back in January but not available to us minions yet!!
