Another newbie

Hi guys I am new to the Forum.

I managed to get my bike licence (Restricted for 2 years to 33bhp) just before the Law change was ment to happen
Only about 7 hours of lessons and got through with only 3 minors

I currently ride a sym DD50 to and from work. I cant wait to get a bigger bike but my gf does not want me to get one before our wedding next year. She seems to think saving money for that is more important!

I am looking at getting a CBF 250 when I have the money

Re: Another newbie

welcome to the forum. As for working on the gf - whenever you're in town - go and look in every bike shop, whenever you're in the supermarket - head for the customer ads board, whenever you're at home - sit and read the local free ads paper or UBG, whenever you're on the net - come to the biker forum or scan ebay for bikes. She'll get so hacked off with you she'll end up telling to "just go and get a bl**dy bike!"

If she's worried about wasting money - turn the argument around. Tell her how much it cost you to get your licence and isn't it a waste not using it.

Let us know how you get on.

Next time you're ...erm...at it, just whisper in her ear that any motorbike is a better ride than her, and hang on tight. You'll have the best sh*g of your life and get dumped after, then you can buy any bike you like.
(ps - Disclaimer - I take absolutely no responsibility for the fact that anyone might be daft enough to actually take my advice)

Some days you're the dog, some days you're the lamp post. For me, life's a beach, and then the tide comes in ....

I like that, I like that.

Did I say I like that? Well I do like that

And a bloody £5000 wedding dress worn for only 3 hours is not a waste? or those bridesmaid dresses? They would be useful if you actually got to 'use' the bridesmaids (if legal that is) .

Now you know I am a dirty old pervert

Muhahahahaha
