Smile Good evening

Just joined this afternoon. I completed my CBT last night and I've signed up to do my actual test at the end of next month - looking to try and hire a bike rather than buy at this stage - (see my other thread in Bike Chat). Only been riding for 2 weeks (had 4 lessons so far) and loving it. Not sure what bike to get once I pass (if I pass!) but any advice would be welcome.

Bryan

Re: Good evening

Hey Bryan, welcome to the forum mate.

Plenty of bikes to choose from, but are you restricted to 33bhp?

Re: Good evening

hello Bryan and welcome. Like Thunderlad said, there's plenty of bikes out there, don't hurry into anything - unless it's too good to miss

Re: Good evening

keep your eyes open, listen to loads of people (only listen) ride as many as you can, read as many reviews as you can, then finally weigh it all up and buy what you want, and only what you want
see i can do sensible posts

and welcome to the forum

young at heart and still faster than you

Re: Good evening

Hi,

I'm 38 and passed my driving test in '87. I will therefore be restricted to 33bhp as suggested.
