Hello all, and a question from a noob

I'm a bit of a late starter to the bike scene, basically a few mates have passed their test and now i have been bitten by the bug.

The only thing is i'm 6' tall and weigh about 16 stones. I'm gonna look like a right plonker on a little 125cc. I know i'm restriced to this engine size which is fine but physically is there a larger bike so i dont look so out of place??

cheers

Re: Hello all, and a question from a noob

Greetings and welcome to the biker forum bigsocks

Have a look at some of the cruisers, honda shadows, marauders, dragsters as there 'chunky' bikes ............. only because I'm biased

The guys and gals will be along with more suggestions soon

Some time's my mind doesn't only wander, it leaves completely ...........

Hi Big socks, and welcome to the forum

The best chioces for you would be either a crosser/supermoto type, or a adventure sport type thingy.

The best of the bunch is prolly a Honda Varadero

What about Yamaha XT125 range or Honda XR125L, as being 5'3" ish, i know these bikes are too high for me.

Welcome

I was depressed last night so I called Lifeline. Got through to a call center in Pakistan.
I told them I was suicidal, and they got all excited and asked: 'Can you drive a truck?'

Hyosung Comet/GT 125 is a pretty big bike for its cc, and has fooled many people into thinking it's something bigger.

welcome aboard and I hope you find something that suits. My criteria for a bike is that my feet can touch the ground while I'm sitting on it
