Hi, All

Hi, I've been a guest here for long enough, thought I'd enroll. I've been riding bikes for a long time, on and off, initially as primary transport, commuting and now just for fun.I have a Harley Sportster, which is great for me as it's very simple and easy to maintain. Living in N.E.Derbyshire there's lots of good roads to tootle about on, may see some of you about when the weather picks up, all the best, Steve.

Howdy Steve,
I do quite a bit of riding around the lower peaks, do you ever get over to Wetton Mill?

Re: Hi, All

Thank guys, Hi Rerb, been to Wetton Mill today. What an absolute GEM! For anyone who loves the countryside this is heaven. Not good for a Harley. probably worse for a CBR1000RR, trail bike would be good, fabulous walking country, I had an Honda XL, that would have been OK. Road 6ft wide, tractor + muckspeader 7ft wide, road covered in leaves and cowpoo. The tunnel under the hill, a big hill, is an absolute Wow! Fortunately I only met a few hikers going through, they're probably deaf now!
National trust cafe was shut, but don't tell anyone else , we shouldn't tell anyone outside Staffs or Derbys.

Re: Hi, All

Keep it shtum m8

Yes it's closed so won't serve wonderful mugs of tea in an amazing natural sun trap with quite a few bikes and owners for company. A real shame

I'll see you there in the spring
