| Hiya Guys - Just wanted to introduce myself. Im Ronnie, 28, I passed my DAS about 3 weeks ago on my second attempt. (should of passed it first time, but i broke a bone in my hand skiing back a week before the test, and really struggled with the clutch on test.. failed for putting my foot down on th eu-turn It was always something i wanted to do... but i had the standard... "while you live under my roof your not getting a bike.. " Anyway the first thing i did when moving out was to learn!! I picked up my first bike on saturday... SV1000s. Had to drive from preston to sheffield to pick it up. Got a real bargain!! The weight took a bit of getting used to as first as it's a LOT heavier than the GS500 i learnt on.. esp with fully loads givi panieers!!!!! , but getting there now. I work down south during the week, and come back to preston at weekends to see family and gf! The second journey i did on the bike was the 240 miles from preston to slough, in the rain, in the dark, on the motorway.. ! That was an experience i tell ya!! Really loving it tho!Nice to meet you all... hopefully this will be the first post of many! |
