| Hi All, New member Bigmur here. Been riding bikes for 30 odd years, current hack is an 86 Gpz 1000 rx as you've probably noticed, I'm having starter problems so if anyone can help, it'd be much appreciated. Live in sunny S.W Scotland where the roads are twisty and quiet. Only problem is cow deposits. |

| Re: Just Arrived I,m at the opposite end of the A75 from Dumfries. Managed to get the starter off after taking the alternator off to make room to manouvre. Motor seems fine put across a battery but it just will not turn when fitted to the bike, it just clunks. Anyone got any knowledge of starter clutches giving problems on these bikes. It's done 43,000 miles. |
