Where's Skunkland Deano??? Not sure I like the sound of that. 'CAnny' is a general northern term I believe Tris, although them there Geordies are fond of it's use.

'canny' translates into different meanings depending on where you live.
I've heard it used to mean sneaky, conniving, sly.
to skunks etc think it just means nice, ok etc

also heard our kilted cousins over the border referred to as canny, but in their case meaning parsimonious

ie "frugal to the point of stinginess"
