Thumbs up Members Tips on overtaking, filtering and the wind

This is a question asked by quite a few people on lots of threads around the forum, all of them answered by other more experienced members.

So I'm not going to re-invent the wheel, here are the members words to the wise!

If any newer members have any more to add then please do, but no banter or repeating whats already there please, you can open a new thread for that

5) Overtake as quickly as you can
6) Never brake on painted road markings in wet! brake offline
7) Only ton it when the road is clear!!!!!

9) Lights on at all times.
10) When you go through a green light, always check for the red light jumper.
11) Practise ( practice? ) your emergency stops. It's amazing how hard modern bikes can brake.
12) Always warm your tyres up ( I've locked the front once, never wish to do THAT again ) O.K so you may look like a t0$$4r weaving around, but you'll stop a lot faster than on colds.
13) On motorways never stay alongside an articulated lorry.
14) Most importantly, when you go around any blind corners, imagine there's a brick wall across the road after the bend. Adjust speed accordingly.
Right then, who's going to do the next seven????

Suddenly there is no wind and the unwary rider can veer off left toward the vehicle acting as a wind break
