Really? did you copy and paste it from my post or type it in? I only ask coz it has to be exact. The other assumption is that you installed firefox to the default location. If you installed it to a custom location then you need to define the path to the executable.

I know it's kinda academic if you have sorted it but, it's an untidy solution and I don't like untidy I guess it's hte trainspotterism eh Deano

I tried both jonny and just got the start page. Something else after this update too, I've lost my firefox theme and installing the latest version (cats on green) just wont work any clues on this?


Some time's my mind doesn't only wander, it leaves completely ...........

Thanks for all your help. I have now fixed the problem.
I restored the PC to an earlier date and now works fine.
Grotbag. Try this.....

go to control panel click on performance & maintenance at the top left click on system restore and follow insrtuctions pick a date when all was ok

dont have performance & maintenance in the control panel Dave, clicking on the system icon brings up performance but system resores not there I know it's in this bluddy tin box somewhere as I've restored to earlier before just cant find it

Sounds like your theme has not yet been updated yet. Firefox checks all your themes and extensions to ensure compatibility...

The safest thing to do is to wait...

but if you just must have them then there is some work arounds, but it might bork your install.

should I go on??

Have you installed the latest beta version GB or did you just update to the latest stable version which is Firefox/2.0.0.16?

Latest stable is 3.0.1.. Have you not yet upgraded Spree...

New rendering engine is a great improvement
