game pads

im getting a bit fed up tying my fingers in knots while attempting to play games on the pc, can anyone recommend a control pad that will play up to date games without having to use the keyboard( cheap and cheerful if possible) but must be functional...cheers

Re: game pads

There are tons of them out there Sam, here's one that I've heard good reports on from a few people Cyborg Rumble Pad, though I have to say I'm set in my ways and still prefer the keyboard for games.

Re: game pads

There is a good logitech pad very similar to playstation one which I have.

There is also an upgraded, and more expensive version too

Re: game pads

i used to use a Microdoft sidewinder, which was very good. You can also get a version that you tilt (much like a Wii pad), avoid that one like the plague.

Re: game pads

Get an official Microsoft Xbox 360 controller.
You can get one for around 15 - 25 pounds.

It plugs streight into the USB, and includes a CD with any hardware you need.

You can also get a wireless one, with a wireless controller USB hub,
So you plug the little hub box into the USB port and your sorted, No wires.
