| Re: Are You Fit to Ride This Summer? I drive. 1. After i have crashed. 2. When i feel like crap or tired. 3. At any time of the day 4. In any weather, including snow and ice and sub-zero temperatures. And 1. I never exercise except occasional walking 2. I jump on the bike and go and dont consider my phyisic or mental state And i also think 1. Burning calories like a brisk walk is a load of b*ll*cks 2. Biking is for everybody, and it doesn't matter if they are 25stone or underweight 3. This article assumes all people ride in summer, when this is untrue But the article is correct about 1. New riders article is correct 2. The bit about being dehydrated is very important, and i recommend drinking a bottle of water every time you stop for fuel etc. * = 2nd time swearing's been eddited Rob - grotbag ![]() |
