Anyone going to The B.M.F

I've not seen anything about the BMF on here yet. Anyone going?

I've been to the last three and had a good day at all of them. Bands, Stunt riders, cheap kit too. If anyone is just starting out, you can get some decent kit at very reduced rates. At my last visit I got TWO Hein Gericke jackets for £40!!! Nothing wrong with them either. Also a set of Oxford throw over panniers for a tenner!!All Brand New. All the major bike manufacturers and suppliers are there and I met James Toseland and the Hairy Bikers to boot last year. You can camp for the weekend if you fancy.
If you've never been its well worth a look and Sunday is the best day (imo) for the reduced kit.

Sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs, but just havn't seen it mentioned.

Re: Anyone going to The B.M.F

I have been there a couple of times myself, always go in the car though because I end up buying too much kit

I don't think I can make it this year though

I know what you mean Spree, I've seen one riding off with a tyre round the shoulder....not advisable.....suppose you would bounce well if you came off

You can never have TOO MUCH KIT though.....

Just ordered my ticket online to save a few quid, its more if you pay on the gate, unless your a member. You worked out I'm tight yet

Re: Anyone going to The B.M.F

I would advice anyone who has just started out in biking to pay the show a visit. Its probably the cheapest place in the country to get kitted up, especially at the end of the show on Sunday when all the traders are trying to get rid of stock, it becomes a bit ridiculous pricewise

I take it we're talking about the East of England Showground on May 17th/18th?

We'll probably come on May 18th then and will bring cash to buy some gear!
