SBM..Scotland ride

Im looking at sorting a trip to Scotland, next Easter Good Friday 2rd to the 5th April, taking two day to get up to Scotland with a few days there and two days back down to Hampshire. (Departing Thursday 1st April, back Tuesday 6th)

We need to decide how much time we are prepared to devote to the tour as that will determine how far we could comfortably go

Some of us will be camping others (wimps) may decide to use B&B's

We will be picking up and visiting members on the way (SB, BC and Laverda) so far.

The route with be on A roads, so L plates can join en route

Any of the Northern Monkeys who want to come & join us on site or for part of the ride will be more than welcome (You might even learn a thing or 2 from us )

Look out the land where men (?) wear skirts. The Southern Biker Mafia is coming

The half way camps are not going to be compulsory & anyone who wants to leave a bit later & blat it in 1 day are welcome to do so.

The route & camping sites are still in the early planning stage but Hols, Seren, & myself are working on it & will have it sorted out in plenty of time

Re: SBM..Scotland ride

If you do it via the east side I would be tempted, could show you an awesome route up through the borders too.

Looking at the West Coast as we have free camping at Oban, from a friend of ours, and lets hope we can do the east coast too

Well I am pretty much halfway on that trip so if you want an overnight stop then give me a shout - don't worry, my wife will be there too. I might even do the rest of the trip with you if possible
