anyway, we're off to the dales on wednesday, probably stay overnight around Hawes (though we may also exercise our right to change our minds & feck orrf somewhere completely different without letting anyone know )
Why good evening Mr D....they were obviously still chewing that which they'd picked up at the sides!!! Remember sarcasm is the lowest form of wit!
Oh how I love Hawes....lovely little biker friendly cafe there and such pleasing roads around and about. Am green with envy! (Unless you change your mind and stay at home in which case I won't be). Are you familiar with the route we went then?

good evening to you too, Lady C
dunno the route you took, not into grass tracking much
from here we go via Northallerton, Bedale, Leyburn etc . . . . that way we manage to avoid Durham altogether

Yes well....there are some folk who find Durham a touch sophisticated for their rough tastes. Whereas I find I fit in well.

I see you take the easy roads....well at your age I suppose it's sensible. Don't want anything too exciting. Best leave the hardcore stuff to the young chicks amongst us.

My brother in law likes the route you go....but then, he rides a varadero.

Easington colliery??? I think not!! (though I once lived in Horden). It's High Peterlee now!
Anyway, might do our bests to be out next Saturday morning. Probably have to be early again so that we can be back for the oldest child to go to work. You and Mrs Deano out and about like?

Re: Helmsley on Sunday

Well he's on nights Mon & Tues then on days Thurs but off the weekend. Might get out Thursday night at a push or one of the mornings next weekend. I'm 9-5 all week as usual
We could arrange a Whitby visit or Helmsley maybe.
If you're on the forum during the week I'll let you know? Or pm me and I'll give you my mobile number then we can arrange something.
