Have just read this announcement somewhere else

"unfortunatley, we have had to cancel this event. After much expense and hours of planning, we were unable to secure enough dealers/exhibitors for the event.

I would like to thank Andy at Rivetts and DRS for their support and wish them well in business.

The day was set to be a big one, however with nearly every local dealer unwilling to layout £45 for a stand there is no way for the show to go ahead. We have travelled out of Hull to shows and again, the same silent response.

The lack of interest from 5 ways, also meant we were unable to secure the main Motorcycle Manufacturers who looked for their approval before committing to the event.

We have run many non motorcycle related events in the past, but have never been so disappointed with the response.

I would just like to apologise to everyone who was looking forward to the event".

I can't believe the apathy from the Hull dealers especially as there are two dealers on the very Street where the Gemtec arena is!!!



Friday saw the last day of the 4th annual Business Week for Yorkshire & Nth Lincolinshire, cumulating with the Yorkshire International Business Convention on Friday at the Gemtec Arena.

700 deligates attended, there wasn't an empty seat in the conference room and the speakers were Sir Bob Geldof, Ellie MacPherson, George Foreman, Richard Reed and Phil Ashby. Even beeb was there! All were promoting business growth in the area, what a pity the local motorcycle dealer didn't attend


and yes BP before you ask, I was there and no, she a blond who sell's her knickers!
