Set off from home at 8.30 with sky looking decidedly iffy. Thought we'd probably get as far as the moors and have to turn back. Got to Whitby and the sun was out!!!! Then off to Lord Stones cafe for a very acceptable hot beef bun and back home again. Had almost forgotten what it was like to see the sun in the north-east! ![]()

Re: A ride out today with no rain...what a lovely surprise Yep it's been sunny all day in this neck of the woods. Looks like it might rain now though as it got cloudy just before it got dark.

Re: A ride out today with no rain...what a lovely surprise Not too bad today up here. managed to my new tyres scrubbed in anyway. Went past the Storming the Castle site today - it was rather muddy and that was just the main road ![]()

Re: A ride out today with no rain...what a lovely surprise I wish I could get out on the bike. But with the recent heavy rains it's washed all the crap all over the roads making them lethal enough in the car, (it's been sliding about on the gravel & mud slides), never mind on the bike ![]()
