Brands Hatch 12th Oct 2008

Just got my tickets for Brands Hatch race day (Pit-Straight Grandstand) for the october meet of the BSB, anyone else going? Grots and offspring are crashing at mine, but if the weather holds out my garden will accomodate some tents.

Hot shower and bacon butties on offer, and maybe a beer or too if any of you are up for it? Hope some of you will come down as it would be nice to put faces to names.

Re: Brands Hatch 12th Oct 2008

We've got Pit-Straight Grandstand tickets booked too

We are travelling down in son's car on the Saturday (more power than my punto) and have 3 spare seat's if anyone want's a lift.

Route will be M62 - M18 - A1(M) to London, so we don't mind slight de-tours if anyone want's picking up along the way

The 2008 season of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship is set for a thrilling climax at Brands Hatch on 10-12 October, with several scores to settle before one of the most competitive campaigns in BSB's history reaches its conclusion.

You'll also be able to get closer to the stars of BSB than ever before, as a special 'riders meet the fans' autograph session has been scheduled on Sunday raceday. The championship's top names will be spending time with supporters at the Think! stand, and don't miss the chance to spend time with riders like Tom Sykes and Cal Crutchlow before they head off to the world stage for the 2009 season.

MotoGP star James Toseland will also be returning to the scene of his stunning double WSB triumph from last season, and James will be signing autographs on raceday and meeting the fans.

To add to a packed progamme of entertainment there will be a spectacular display by the Relentless Freestyle Motocross team, plus a family funfair all weekend.

Raceday schedule is;-

09.00 – 09.45 Pirelli Pit Walk, Team pillion laps
10.00 – 10.10 Henderson Yamaha R1 Cup/KTM Super Duke Warm up
10.15 – 10.30 2008 BENNETTS BRITISH SUPERBIKES Warm up

Nice one Nige, and your good self Grots. By the way you lot, I also have a three man tent, so a couple of you only need sleeping bags
