| Re: Ride to the wall There were quite a few from Scotland there and in Kilts. Very smart they looked as well. My OH and one of our mates met a bloke there that had been to the War Memorial on the Tuesday to take some flowers for his son, who he lost last year in Afganistan or Irac. He said that when he heard about the run that he just had to be part of it. He has had a license plate made up on his bike of which the back ground is a photo of his son and the lettering and numbers are his sons name and date of birth. I wish I'd taken our camera...remembered when we were well on our way that I'd left it on the table. J. |
