Cool Pyrenees and Beyond Update.

Have spoken with my boss, and he says it would be okay for anyone who wishes to come along on my little trip to meet up in Harlow and use our depot as a campsite on the night before departure. Our depot is behind a secure gate, and as we supply hospital beds and mattresses there would not be a shortage of sleeping arrangements for anyone coming along.

We can put the bikes inside the unit, and wrap them up in their own blankets to keep them nice and warm. Well it's nice to look after them and pamper them before they have to suffer the hot, sunny weather I'm hoping they will experience over the next couple of weeks.

The route is planned as much as it's going to be, and I've found a list of campsites in the area we may end up at.

I suspect not many of you are thinking that far ahead considering the time of year etc. But if you want any nore info please feel free to get in touch.

Re: Pyrenees and Beyond Update.

The dates are 4th July, 7.00 am departure from dover. coming back 2 weeks later. the route is Down the west side of France, via Bordeaux, and Biarritz. then into and through the Pyrenees. Travelling from west to east, and then following the coastline around to Monaco. from there I head north towards Clermont Ferrand, and onto paris. Last night is in paris city centre, in a camp-site, and home the next day.
If anyone knows how I can copy the Autoroute Express map route into a link or pictures onto this site then let me know and I'll do my best to put the route onto this link.
