I am aware I started this thread, but not convinced myself should take the lead.

Does someone want to set a date and Meeting place??

11th would be easiest for me, as i wouldnt have to rearrange anything, but 13th and 14th can be done at a push

The Border's is good change for me??

I will talk to Mrs Alfie and see if she is ok with that, as its our village Herring Queen on the 11th (Gala day) it's ok for me but she might not see it that way would rather be on the bike

since its a few weeks away it may be a good idea to see if anyone else want to join in, their location could dictate part of the route at least, but all suggestions welcome

ok, your at moodiesburn and im at whitburn, if someone from bellshill wants to join in, then someone from motherwell,then lanark,, and we are all heading for the borders it wouldnt make any sense to go through edinburgh, so pick up points determines the start of the route( hope i have explained that ok)

as it stands at the moment you and i will meet at showcase cinema at coatbridge and head south from there

Thinking back you wasn't the bloke who came off his bike a several years back,on the sharpe bend at the bottom of the hill were the bollards & the turning for Buildbase is,(Just before the spot where police speed trap always is .) Heading in the Longridge direction? I was the tall hairy bloke with his son who helped the unfortunate biker with his bike etc..& helped him back to his house/garage?

im happy to say it wasnt me, but it can be a funny wee corner

cb 350 will be fast enough if you want to join in, the more the merrier,, i dont go fast anyway
