It certainly would have more impact I agree and very achievable, we need to make sure we are not encouraging a race tho, but I get the feeling we are a sensible bunch so I would not see a problem.

I guess allowing for some A roads in stead of M'ways about a 1000/1200 miles, about 10 riders swapping the baton depending on member coverage?
